David is one of identical twin brothers. He has a learning disability and ADHD but his twin does not. David has been to Arethusa Venture Centre three times with school. Each time he has enjoyed trying new activities. He has greatly gained in confidence and on David’s last visit he was able to do everything his twin brother did. He was especially thrilled to have conquered his fears and climbed to the top of the High Ropes.
‘We have always been passionate about all the children having the opportunity to go on a School Journey, as it is such a stimulating and rewarding educational experience. Children invariably come back from Arethusa full of excitement and wonderful stories of their adventures, often having made new friends from other classes in the year group and having gained a new sense of independence and self-confidence.’
