Siblings United
Shaftesbury Young People works to maintain family relationships by bringing together separated brothers and sisters who are living apart due to care.

Siblings United runs holiday camps throughout the year which are specifically designed to rebuild and maintain sibling relationships. Camps are held across England and enable siblings to spend time and get to know each other in a fun, healthy and safe environment. We use a therapeutic framework of activities sensitive to the fact that beneficiaries may not know each other well due to their separation.
For the Siblings United project, Shaftesbury Young People has partnered with Fostering Network, TACT and The Who Cares? Trust. Our partnership aim is to increase contact between siblings separated due by care for their immediate and life long wellbeing.
STAFFING
The camps are run by qualified residential staff and youth workers as well as registered volunteers.
